WHAT IS GREEN COAL?
Green Coal is a carbon-negative alternative to fossil coal.
Green Coal is manufactured using a patented technology, and creates a unique product that can directly replace Fossil Coal in all major industrial uses.
Green Coal is made from a specialised Biomass Crop that we grow in-house as part of our Green Coal Plant. This Biomass Crop is unique because it enhances the soil in which it grows, turning infertile soil into fertile soil within 7-9 years.
Through our farming, production and delivery process (CIF), Green Coal is fully Carbon Negative. Furthermore, Green Coal emits less harmful fumes when burnt when compared to Fossil Coal.
COAL SPECIFICATIONS
Green Coal has a similar density to Fossil or Black Coal, and we can alter specifications of produced coal based on requests from manufacturers. However, our standard Green Coal is made as per the below specifications:
Gross Calorific Value: 23 MJ/kg to 28 MJ/kg
Chlorine Content: 0.03% to 0.04%
Sulphur Content: 0.02% to 0.03%
Bulk Density: 690 kg/m3 to 800 kg/m3
Moisture Content: 5%
Please note that based on certain minimum production limits, specifications can be altered to a certain degree.
